Experimental New Ad Types

Over the years some advertisers have asked about a variation of our service where by the advertiser only pays for clicks that your blog generates to their website. Over the next coming few weeks we will be experimenting with a new “pay-per-click” ad type also frequently referred to as PPC ads.

Because of these advertising inquiries we are going to experiment with these new pay-per-click ad types. This is an experimental period and there might be an occasional bug or issue that we will address.

- These ad types will be widely available to many bloggers. Advertisers will be seeking traffic from your blog. The more popular your blog is, the more clicks you’ll likely generate.

- A specific tracking url will be assigned to you. Its important to use this tracking link in any blog-ads you post. If you dont use the tracking url assigned to you, your clicks wont be recorded.

- You will only be paid on a per-click basis or per action basis based on the ad type. The instructions on task assignments will alert you for these specific pay-per-click ads.

- Your clicks will be validated and totaled at the end of the month. The payment for clicks will be generated after they are totaled and paid 30 days after the end of the month.

Important Notes:

- Carefully check instructions emailed to you. A special tracking link will be assigned to your blog.

- Clicks are only tracked for approved tasks. If your task is rejected, clicks will not be recoreded.

- Payments are generated to you for these ad types only for clicks or sale/action generated. A note will specificy if its pay per click or pay per action. The clicks or actions are totalled at the beginning of the month for the previous month and are paid 30 days after.

- Clicks are checked for validity. Extra/double, invalid clicks, etc. are discarded. Please avoid clicking on your own ads or generate any type of fake clicks.

- If and when an advertiser decides to cancel a pay-per-click campaign, we will send you a notice to please remove the blog ad/link from your blog.
